"We Arnhem: Chapter 2"

“WE ARNHEM: CHAPTER 2”

In The Netherlands many cities were destroyed after WWII, Arnhem was one of those cities. We took the resilience the city showed as an inspiration for our film. We were fascinated by the stories of joint effort that helped to rebuilt the city from its ashes. We tried to capture the feeling that we are stronger as a team rather than individuals despite the challenges it may bring.

In that spirit we wanted to not only use dance but also collaborate with local creatives.

In the times we live in and with the age with social media and a world that tends to feel smaller people look far away for inspiration and forget the ones that work around the corner which is necessary for a thriving cultural environment. In our film we worked solely with Arnhem based artists like Introdans, Het Gelders Orkest, composer Tom Trapp Toneelgroep Oostpool, actress Joy Delima and designer Zyanya Keizer.
