ABOUT SCREEN DANCE INTERNATIONAL
Screen Dance International is excited to celebrate its sixth year in 2023! We are a nonprofit organization that uses its platform to support dance filmmakers, cultivate creativity, promote dance arts, and showcase diversity in the making and screening of dance films. SDI is a strong believer in utilizing our digital platform and medium to connect cultures, encourage conversations, and provide inspiration to all. SDI supports a wide range of movement forms including street dance, contemporary dance, ballet, dance theatre, jazz, tap, animation, experimental and other forms of movement of interest to the filmmaker. SDI connects filmmakers with audiences in Michigan and around the globe through its adjudicated screenings of dance films.
